4 billion rubles were invested in roadside infrastructure in Bashkiria for year

The authorities of Bashkiria attracted 4 billion rubles of investments in constructing roadside complexes for the year. 21 investors are implementing 33 projects, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Rustam Muratov said at a seminar of heads of administrations of municipal districts and urban districts of Bashkortostan with the participation of republican executive authorities, held in the Tuymazinsky district.

“Part of the tourist infrastructure of the region is, among other things, roadside service. The republic ranks second in Russia in terms of the length of public roads, and we must provide conditions for comfortable traffic on the roads of our region. Following the Concept for the Roadside Service Development, our goal for the current year is to build 100 new and modernize 100 existing roadside service facilities,” Rustam Muratov stated.

To date, the most active in terms of attracting investors are Ufimsky (14 projects), Kushnarenkovsky (5), Iglinsky (4) districts, as well as Ufa (4). The Development Corporation prepares business plans for projects approved by the government.

In October 2020, the Concept for the Roadside Service Development until 2024 was adopted in Bashkiria. A "land pool" has been formed for investors, including suitable plots with all the necessary characteristics. Investors can get land for lease without bidding to implement a project worth over 50 million rubles, receive compensation for the costs of engineering and transport infrastructure in the amount of 50%, but not more than 30 million rubles after putting the facility into operation.
