The Investment Committee of the republic has approved new projects in the food industry. They were discussed at the Investment Hour meeting, which was chaired by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on May 27. The total investment in the implementation of these projects exceeds 2.2 billion rubles.
The executive of the Dobrynin group of companies Garif Churagulov presented a project to expand the production of semi-finished meat products in the Davlekanovsky district.
The total investment is estimated at 590 million rubles. The implementation of the project will create 330 new jobs.
As a result of the discussion, the project received priority status. As a support measure, the investor is compensated for part of the costs of creating engineering infrastructure, as well as leasing payments for vehicles and equipment.
The Head of Bashkortostan reminded that the republic would significantly expand measures to support such industries.
Larisa Malakhova, General Director of the Meleuzovsky Dairy Canning Plant, spoke about plans to build a workshop to produce dry dairy products and components for baby food. The company specializes in milk processing and the production of dry and whole milk products. In 2019-2020, the plant invested more than 230 million rubles in technical re-equipment. The new project involves constructing a modern workshop for the production of ingredients for baby food and butter from high-fat cream on the enterprise site. The volume of investments is 1.58 billion rubles. The workshop will create more than 60 new jobs. As measures to support the project, the Investment Hour participants approved the reimbursement of part of the cost of purchasing technological equipment.
Another industry project is a logistics center for storing food products, which Service-Market intends to build in Ufa. Its financial director Ildus Ilyasov said that the complex, worth 105 million rubles, is intended for receiving, sorting, and storing a wide range of products. About 30 people will be employed on the site of 5 thousand square meters. The Investment Committee RB approved the implementation of the project with the provision of preferences for property and profit taxes.
