Radiy Khabirov took part in VFD Council meeting on apartment buildings overhaul

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took part in a meeting of the Council under the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President RF to the Volga Federal District (VFD). It discussed the functioning of regional systems for major repairs of common property in apartment buildings.

Presidential Plenipotentiary Igor Komarov noted that since 2014, more than 45 thousand apartment buildings had been overhauled in the Volga Federal District, and about 6.5 million people had improved their living conditions.

"Taking measures to solve problems in the area of overhaul is a necessary condition for fulfilling the task of ensuring real positive changes in people's lives, which has been repeatedly emphasized by the head of state, Vladimir Putin," Igor Komarov said.

Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utility Services of Russia Irek Fayzullin reported that the regions were improving the overhaul systems. At the same time, there is a need for state support in this area from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to ensure their financial stability.

"We also need constant monitoring of public opinion on these issues and control by the regional authorities to minimize complaints," Irek Fayzullin stated.

The Council meeting will elaborate specific proposals that will help solve numerous issues related to the overhaul of common property in the apartment buildings.

In Bashkortostan, 17,018 apartment buildings with a total area of 61.4 million square meters were included in the republican program of overhaul repairs for the period 2014-2043. m. From 2014 to 2020, overhaul repairs were carried out in 7 396 houses with a total area of 32 million square meters for 22.3 billion rubles. 1.23 million people got their housing conditions improved.

In addition, in 2019-2020, within the framework of the republican program initiated by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, 6,181 entrance halls in 2,069 apartment buildings were comprehensively repaired for a total sum of 2.07 billion rubles.

Plans for 2021 include overhaul repairs of 798 apartment buildings for 3.9 billion rubles and repair of 306 entrances in 112 apartment buildings for 222.2 million rubles.
