Head of Bashkiria launched revived production of detergents and new gas pipeline

One of the most famous expositions in the country - “Gas. Oil. Technologies” international exhibition is being held in the capital of Bashkortostan for the 29th time and has again brought together the leading companies in the industry. Before the exhibition's opening ceremony, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the stands of new technology and equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

More than 260 companies from 31 regions of Russia are presented at the large-scale exposition, which will demonstrate new technologies and equipment, developments, and services.

According to Gennady Shmal, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia, the last year was difficult for the whole industry. Oil production was cut by 48 million tons, and sanctions also influenced the situation, but the industry continued to develop despite this.

The Head of Bashkortostan launched the revived production of washing powders and other detergents at the Ekol subsidiary of the Bashkir Soda Company. The volume of investments for the project amounted to 275 million rubles.

The design capacity of synthetic detergents is 60 thousand tons per year; more than 120 new jobs have been created at the enterprise. The powders will be produced under Zifa and Luch's well-known brands in cardboard boxes and colored polymer packaging.

Radiy Khabirov also launched a gas pipeline, which connected the village of Novo-Aleksandrovka and the Ufa Zaton neighborhood. The Gazprom company plans to supply gas to 164 more settlements in the republic by 2025. More than 26 thousand households in the republic will receive blue fuel.

After the opening ceremony, the Head of the Republic visited the expositions of Bashneft, Transneft-Ural, Gazprom Transgaz Ufa, Bashkir Soda Company, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, Bashneftegeofizika.

The “Gas. Oil. Technologies” exhibition is also presented on the digital platform, allowing getting in touch with exhibitors and conducting business negotiations from anywhere in the world. The key event of the business program will be a plenary session on the topic “Petrochemical Projects in Russia: Industry Development Trends”.
