Mordovian affiliate of Hungarian agricultural corporation plans to build dairy plant in Bashkiria

Last year, Magyar Agro entered the region with a project to build five livestock complexes for 3 thousand heads each (the cost of the investment project was planned at 6.2 billion rubles). Now Magyar Agro plans to expand its presence in Bashkiria by building a dairy plant with a full line of products - from drinking milk to hard cheeses. The cost of this project is about 500 million rubles.
“Hungarian investors are interested in Bashkortostan, first of all, because of its attractive tax conditions and comprehensive support from the republic’s authorities,” Oleg Brata, director for economic affairs of the Magyar Agro Corporation, says.
“We showed the investor the sites at the Ufimsky Industrial Park and the Alga Special Economic Zone. It is very profitable for foreign companies to locate their production facilities in the SEZ. Since there is a free customs zone in it, you can import equipment and raw materials without customs duties,” Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said.
According to the company, two affiliates of Hungarian companies located in Ishimbay have already applied to obtain the SEZ resident status: Optimum Solar Rus to produce solar panels and P Solaris to produce supports for solar panels.
