Ufa plans to build Russia's first solar-powered residential complex

In Ufa, they plan to build the first residential complex in Russia with an area of 12 thousand square meters using facade solar systems manufactured by Hevel.

In accordance with the project, the composite panels will be replaced with a photovoltaic façade system. Thus, the house's facade will generate electricity to power all common areas, elevators, lighting. The solar power plant will generate 16,700 kilowatt-hours per year.

"It is important for us that Bashkortostan has become a pilot region introducing environmentally friendly construction," the Prime Minister of the republic's government, Andrei Nazarov stated. "Our strategic task is to build more, much more, since the current construction volume of about 2.5 million square meters of housing is insufficient. The plan by 2030 is to reach 4 million square meters of housing. At the same time, those objects that are being built should have new features, including environmentally friendly materials that should be used in construction. We support the use of solar energy. Smart houses allow not only to take advantage of modern technologies but also to use external space more efficiently. Our task is to introduce high technologies everywhere, and not as a one-time exception".

It is noted that the service life of the modules is more than 30 years. The latest heterostructural technology was used in their manufacture.
