Platform complex modernization of Ufa railway station was discussed at "Transport Hour" session

After completing the reconstruction of the Ufa railway station building in 2021, it will be possible to start designing the high first and second passenger platforms. This was announced on Monday at the "Transport Hour" session by the Minister of Transport and Roads of Bashkiria Viktor Zhulkov.

This will improve the comfort and safety of residents using rail transport. The estimated cost of the modernization is over 1.1 billion rubles, including 130 million rubles for design work.

At the Transport Hour session, under the leadership of the Head of Bashkortostan, they discussed the modernization of the platform complex of the Ufa railway station. Radiy Khabirov stressed that the proposed version of modernization of two platforms at the Ufa railway station was necessary to develop the city's transport infrastructure.

This issue will be put on the agenda at the upcoming working meeting with Russian Railways. The final decision on the financing of the project will be made there.
