Non-resource exports share increased by 20.5% in Bashkiria in January-February

In January-February, with a decrease in foreign trade turnover, the share of non-resource non-energy exports increased by 20.5% compared to the first two months of 2020.

According to the State Committee of External Economic Relations, the volume of non-resource non-energy exports (NRE) from the republic in the specified period amounted to $ 259.8 million. The share of non-resource non-energy goods amounted to 71% of the total volume of exports of the republic.

NRE products include agricultural goods, chemicals, household chemicals, fertilizers, processed stone, cast iron and steel, non-ferrous and precious metals, engineering products, pharmaceuticals, clothing, and footwear.

According to the Federal Customs Service, the total foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan in January-February 2021 amounted to $ 463.3 million - 6.4% less than in January-February 2020. Exports decreased by 7.8% and amounted to about $ 366 million; imports decreased by 1.1% to $ 97.3 million.
