Mechanical engineering provided 1.5-fold increase in first quarter in Bashkiria

According to the Ministry of Industry RB, in January-March, the growth in the production of vehicles amounted to 152.5%, other vehicles, and equipment - 156.9% (by the first quarter of 2020).

A 52% increase in volumes was recorded in the motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers production. The production of trolleybuses (19.3 times), trailers and semi-trailers weighing over 10 tons (4 times), concrete trucks (2.2 times), special vehicles (2 times), buses (132.7%), trailers and semi-trailers weighing no more than 0.75 tons (120%), electrical and electronic equipment for motor vehicles (118.2%), vehicle accessories (112.4%), bodies for motor vehicles (111.4%) was increased.

The production of trailers and semi-trailers weighing over 3.5 tons decreased by 10.4%, tank trailers for the transportation of oil products, water, and other liquids - by 28.6%, tractor-trailers and semi-trailers - by 38.4%.

Bashkir machine-building companies shipped products worth 9.9 billion rubles - 14.4% more than in the first quarter of 20202.

PJSC NefAZ increased output by 10.5%. Focusing on demand, the company is expanding the production of passenger buses and electric buses. At PJSC Tuimazinsky concrete truck plant showed a 1.5-fold growth due to an increase in the production of concrete trucks for KAMAZ. The Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant JSC completed the shipment of 68 trolleybuses to Chuvashia. Ishimbaiskiy JSC MK Vityaz reduced production volumes influenced by investment programs cuts of oil and gas producing companies, the Ministry of Industry specified.

The industrial production index in Bashkiria amounted to 100.5%, in the Russian Federation - 98.7%.
