Ufa hit Top 10 Best Russian cities to live in 2021

The Bashkir capital hit the top ten best cities in Russia to live in 2021. These are the results of the SuperJob poll, in which residents of 36 major cities of the country participated. In each of the cities, a thousand representatives of the economically active population were interviewed.

The best assessments of the development of various parameters of life are given to Tyumen, Kazan, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Ufa took ninth place out of 21.

“79% of the respondents like living in Ufa. This is the ninth place out of 21 in the ranking of the best cities to live in, which SuperJob analysts have compiled since 2014. Judging by the estimates of residents, in 2020 the situation with roads (20%) and the green zone (40%) improved in Ufa - these are the best estimates of these parameters of life in the capital of Bashkiria over the past seven years,” the press service of SuperJob commented on. “However the development of public transport in Ufa is assessed less positively (24% last year and 20% - today). During the year of the pandemic, estimates of the development of cinemas and theaters, as well as restaurants, decreased.

Since 2014, Ufa residents have become much better at assessing the development of schools and kindergartens (9% in 2014 and 23% in 2021), medicine and the availability of good doctors (7% in 2014 and 16% in 2021), the availability of comfortable housing (8% and 16%).

Meanwhile, for a number of parameters, estimates have decreased over seven years. Thus, the availability of goods and services is praised 4% less often, theaters and cinemas are well evaluated by every fifth Ufa citizen against every third in 2014, cafes and restaurants - 33% in 2021 against 58% in 2014.

Every fifth of the respondents, both in 2021 and in 2014, said that there is nothing to praise in Ufa.
