Industry growth is recorded in Bashkiria: industrial production index made 100.5%

The industrial production index for January-March 2021 amounted to 100.5% (the average Russian indicator is 98.7%). The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced this at a briefing session in the government. In March, the republican index reached 101.4%.
"The industry of the republic has started to grow," the Head of the Republic noted. "Our task is to restore the economy rapidly. In Bashkortostan, wood processing, production of vehicles, furniture, and clothing are developing at a good pace. It is important to retain this trend."
In the first quarter of 2020, the industrial production index amounted to 101.7% compared to January - March 2019.
At the end of 2020, the Republican Industrial Development Fund (IDF) took second place in the rating of regional partners of the Industrial Development Fund of Russia. Compared to 2019, Bashkortostan has risen by 17 positions at once. Perm Territory ranked first, Krasnodar Territory ranked third.
In 2020, the republican Industrial Development Fund financed 29 sectoral projects with a total budget of over 3.5 billion rubles.
