Bashkiria ranked 22nd in Top 25 regions with high standard of living

Bashkiria took 22nd place in the Top 25 in the rating of Russian regions' socio-economic and economic situation at the end of 2020. The Civil Society Development Fund compiled the rating. The region received an overall rating of 34.2 points.
The socio-economic situation was determined by the following indicators: the average monthly salary, the ratio of the average monthly salary to the cost of the consumer basket, the ratio of the region's public debt to the consolidated budget revenues to the amount received by the federal treasury from the region of the subject. The rating is based on data from Rosstat, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Tax Service, and Roskazna.
Moscow, Tyumen Region, Leningrad Region, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, and Moscow Region were included in the top five. Tatarstan, Sakhalin, and Ryazan regions closed the top 25.
In terms of wages in the country, the leaders are the Magadan Oblast, Chukotka, and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. According to this indicator, Bashkiria took 36th place in the country.
