Retail trade and catering turnover is steadily declining in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the turnover of retail trade and catering continues to decline. According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, in January 2021, gross retail revenue amounted to 77.03 billion rubles - 100.3% compared to January 2020 and 74% to December 2020.

In February, retail trade income amounted to 69.42 billion rubles - 98.4% to February 2020 and 89.6% to January 2021.

In 2020, the retail turnover amounted to 911.105 billion rubles in Bashkiria (94.5% of the turnover in 2020). The most significant drop in income was recorded in April - to 46 billion rubles; in December, they rose to 103.4 billion rubles.

Restaurants and cafes earned 2.277 billion rubles in January, 2.086 billion rubles in February - 97% in comparable prices of the first two months of 2020. January volume amounted to 74.6% of December 2020, February - 91% of January.

The gross income of the republican public catering amounted to 23.7 billion rubles in 2020 (76% to 2019).
