Paid services decreased by 10% in Bashkiria compared to beginning of 2020

The volume of paid services in January and February decreased by 10% overall compared to the beginning of last year. According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency's official data, companies provided services for 20.57 billion and 20.39 billion rubles in the current January and February, respectively.

In January and February last year, the volumes amounted to 22 billion 3 million and 22 billion 18 million rubles.

Last year, the lowest turnover was shown in May - 13.65 billion rubles, the highest – in December - 22.8 billion rubles.

The largest share in terms of the services sold last year was accounted for housing and utility services, telecommunications, medicine, and consumer goods and services. The most affected were the tourism and sports services, the hotel business, and veterinary medicine.
