The 20th Russian Industrial Forum has started its work in Ufa today. This year it has a wider exposition, as well as thematic and demonstration programs. About 130 companies from 12 regions of Russia, including Bashkortostan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Leningrad, Ryazan, Samara, Tver, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, Tatarstan and Udmurtia, take part in the large-scale exhibition.
"In Bashkortostan, all this year, we made the necessary efforts to preserve and strengthen the position of our industry. Moreover, it proved its resiliency. At the end of 2020, the industrial production index was 98 percent. According to the results of March 2021, we are already reaching pre-crisis indicators", the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov noted at the opening of the forum.
The Head of the Region recalled that on March 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin had decided to transfer a controlling stake in the Bashkir Soda Company to Bashkortostan. "This is a significant event for us. In fact, the fourth enterprise in terms of production volume is getting under the republic's control. Today at the forum, we are presenting the Bashkir Soda Company. We are ready to work with our partners from all over the world."

Today, with great pleasure, we are launching the production of CNC machines by the M-Robo company within the framework of the opening of the Russian Industrial Forum, " the Head of the Republic said.
After the opening ceremony, the Head of Bashkortostan visited the expositions of the industrial exhibition.
This year the exposition is divided into thematic blocks. The first one presents large industrial companies of Russia and Bashkortostan. Among the participants are such enterprises as UEC, UMPO, Molniya, Hydraulics, Russian Helicopters, KumAPP, Inman.
The second block for the first time demonstrates services, products, developments of more than 60 small and medium-sized businesses in the region. They will present thematic sections "Mechanical engineering," "Aviation cluster of Bashkortostan", "Robotics", "Technoparks", "Protection means", "Furniture cluster", "Woodworking industry".
The third block is the traditional exposition of innovative enterprises of the republic's capital - the million city of Ufa. About 30 companies will demonstrate their achievements, including Technopark of Aviation Technologies, Industrial Park "Promtsentr", Oil and Gas Park, Technopark "Nizhegorodsky" and others.
Here, the Ufa company "Robo Systems" will present its own project I-SPOK - "Cashier-less Canteen".
The fourth block will present a "Legprom" exposition (Light Industry) with the participation of more than 20 companies, including State Unitary Enterprise "Agidel", "Atelier" Salavat "," Ishimbay knitwear factory, Davlekanovskaya shoe factory," Ishimbay hosiery factory,"Tricotazhnitsa","Malysh", as well as several small businesses in the republic.
The Ufa tram and trolleybus plant, the Tuimazinsky plant of concrete carriers, the Tekhpromservice enterprise present their vehicles and other large exhibits on the open street square.
The key event of the Russian Industrial Forum will be the strategic session "Technological Development of Russia: Points and Ways to Achieve National Goals".
Over the three days of the forum, 25 industry sections will be held, at which 288 speakers from 15 cities of Russia will deliver reports. All events will take place in a hybrid format. The forum will become a venue where the topics of smart manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing systems, additive technologies, digital engineering, interregional cooperation and cooperation, the aviation industry, and increasing labor productivity will be discussed.
On the days of the events at the Legprom site, colorful displays of the Bashkir designers' collections and regional clothing manufacturers will be held non-stop. More than 20 technical and natural science masterclasses will be conducted for schoolchildren.
