BSC's net profit increased by more than one billion rubles in 2020

Bashkir Soda Company (BSC) has released its annual report. The company's net profit amounted to 13.14 billion rubles in 2020, which is 1.06 billion rubles more than in 2019 (12.08 billion rubles).
The company's revenue increased to 48.3 billion rubles.
Sales profit decreased by 1 billion to 15.6 billion rubles, and revenues from participation in other organizations increased from 844 million in 2019 to 2.5 billion in 2020.
“By the end of 2020, more than 1.8 million tons of soda ash grade B were produced. We have set an absolute record for the production of soda ash grade A - 1 million tons per year. We also increased the sodium bicarbonate production by 14% - the baking soda production amounted to 180 thousand tons against 157 thousand tons in 2019. The company produced 268.5 thousand tons of suspension polyvinylchloride against the plan of 265 thousand tons,” the company CEO, Eduard Davydov, told RBC.
In January 2019, Bashkir Soda Company JSC announced the payment of 5 billion rubles in dividends to its shareholders. Dividends on BSC securities were paid based on the results of nine months of 2018. The total number of shares for which income was payable was about 1.657 million. The amount of dividend accrued per ordinary share exceeded three thousand rubles.
In 2019, the net profit of the Bashkir Soda Company reached 12.08 billion rubles. Then it was planned to direct almost 60% of the profit for annual payments to shareholders.
Besides, BSC was going to pay another 600 million rubles to shareholders following the first quarter of 2020 - at 362 rubles per share.
