Passenger traffic on Kuibyshev Railway decreased by 4% in March

Passenger traffic on the Kuibyshev Railway fell by 4% in March, the press service of the company reports. According to the latest data, 1.1 million passengers were transported last month, which is 4.1% less than in March 2020. Of these, 855.2 thousand passengers (-4.1%) were accounted for suburban traffic, 280.1 thousand (-4.1%) for long-distance travel.

In total, 3 million passengers were transported in January-March 2021, which is 21.4% less than in January-March 2020.

Passenger turnover on the Kuibyshev Railway since the beginning of 2021 has decreased by 31.6% compared to last year (753 million passengers/kilometers).

The Kuibyshev Railway runs through the territory of Bashkiria, Samara, Penza, Ulyanovsk regions.
