Turkish company plans to build river port in Agidel and hotel in Ufa

The Turkish company Favori LLC plans to build a river port in Agidel, a hotel, and a multi-level parking lot near the Ufa railway station. This became known during the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkiria, Rustam Muratov, with a member of the Board of Directors of Kozuva Group, Bora Ishiner.

The ministry noted that creating a cargo river port in Agidel would reduce the cost of transporting bulk, heavy cargo and ensure the development of the internal Russian transport infrastructure along the strategic Ural meridian.

The Turkish company also intends to build a hotel and a parking lot. At the meeting, an agreement was signed on implementing this investment project - the construction of a hotel and a multi-level parking lot at the Ufa railway station complex. It is reported that now the republic's leadership is negotiating with representatives of the Kuibyshev railway to agree on the project.

Favori LCC is part of the Turkish group of companies Kozuva holding, which was founded in 1955. Favori carries out activities on projects for the construction and maintenance of airports.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the government of Bashkiria plans to deepen the bottom of the Belaya and Ufimka rivers, which are 495 kilometers long; to develop the city's infrastructure ports of Ufa and Agidel; restore the fleet; develop inbound cruise tourism. Besides, the republican authorities intend to revive river shipping.
