Import-substituting production for oil and gas industry will appear in Bashkiria

The resident of "Blagoveshchensk" PDA will allocate over 500 million rubles to produce measuring devices for the oil and gas industry, the press service of the republican government reports.

The register of residents of the priority development areas (PDAs) of Bashkiria was supplemented by the enterprise "Uraltechnostroy - Automated Systems". The company intends to implement an investment project at the "Blagoveshchensk" PDA to create a production and technological complex for the manufacture of measuring devices for the oil and gas industry.

The implementation of the investment project is scheduled for 2021-2028. The new production will create more than 100 jobs.

As the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the region Ekaterina Klikunova emphasized, this will contribute to the diversification of the economy of the single-industry town of Blagoveshchensk, reduce tension in the labor market and increase tax payments to the budgets of all levels.
