Ufa Airport net profit amounted to 728 million rubles in 2020

In the context of a decrease in passenger traffic and the restrictions imposed due to coronavirus spread, Ufa Airport received a net profit of 728 million rubles at the end of 2020. This is 28% lower than the same indicator of the previous year. The company's revenue decreased by 40% and amounted to 3.2 billion rubles.

"I can confidently name the past year one of the most difficult and challenging in the history of the enterprise," Alexander Andreev, general director of the Ufa Airport, explained. "We managed to prevent a decrease in passenger traffic by more than 33%, which is higher than the industry average. Thus, we retained our leadership in passenger traffic among the Volga Federal District's airports, successfully completed the key objects of the investment program, ensured the financial stability of the enterprise, and the timely fulfillment of all obligations to employees and contractors. We look forward to improving the market situation in the current year 2021."
