Radiy Khabirov spoke about projects for Ufa road infrastructure development

Bashkortostan is very actively cooperating with the Federal Road Agency, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov said today, answering journalists' questions after visiting the Eastern Exit construction site.

"We have excellent relations and close cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Transport. This project was supported by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Marat Khusnullin", Radiy Khabirov marked.

The Head of the Region said that the reconstruction of a transport interchange at the intersection of Zaki Validi Street and Salavat Yulaev Avenue was underway in Ufa.

"Certainly, residents have to endure certain inconveniences due to traffic restrictions. However, it's just a short period left to go through it; we agreed that we would start traffic there on September 1. The construction of an insert bridge across Belaya at the southern entrance to Ufa is also underway. It also shows good progress. We will discuss several projects at a meeting with Roman Vitalievich (Roman Novikov, Acting Head of the Federal Road Agency - ed.). This is the construction of a bridge across Belaya in the alignment of Internatsionalnaya Street, the continuation of Salavat Yulaev Avenue construction. We have quite good prospects in terms of road construction, thanks to the support of the federal center", Radiy Khabirov stated.
