Furniture cluster will include 11 enterprises in Bashkiria

The Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria is forming an interregional furniture cluster. This initiative was reported during the trip of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, to the Tuymazi factory of orthopedic mattresses "Korona" in June 2020. This enterprise will become an anchor resident of the cluster, including 10 more companies, RBC-Ufa reports.

These are the Tuimazinskaya furniture factory Veles, the manufacturers of upholstered furniture "Amik" and"Apogey", the metal components manufacturer for mattresses - the Belebey enterprise Avtodetal and the Beloretsk company Partner, which produces products for the manufacture of mattresses. The cluster will also include the Salavat trading company "Modern", the Ufa manufacturer of orthopedic pillows and mattresses "UniversalService" and the local supplier of stands for the production of beds - the company "Kredo". Also, the project participants will include the Chelyabinsk supplier of equipment and spare parts "MS-Trade" and the Tatarstan manufacturer of bed bases and accessories "Forward-PC" LLC.

The authorities of Bashkiria will provide subsidies for part of the cost of purchasing equipment, assistance in acquiring land plots. The cluster members' problems will be discussed at the "Industrial Hour" session with the Head of the Republic.

The inclusion of the cluster in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will allow enterprises to receive subsidies from the federal budget. The companies will be able to reimburse up to 30% of the costs of implementing joint projects within three years - a maximum of 300 million rubles. These funds can be used to lease payments for equipment, pay interest on loans for the construction or reconstruction of production sites, or purchase equipment. Subsidies are also allocated to develop and purchase software licenses, registration, and protection of intellectual property.
