Bashkiria hit Top 10 Russian regions in agricultural production

Bashkiria is among the top ten Russian regions in terms of agricultural production, according to the statistics of the republic.

According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, Bashkiria accounts for 3.1% of agricultural products produced in Russia, including: grain - 2.9%, meat - 2.7%, milk - 5.2%, eggs - 2.3%, honey - 8.7%. In total, in 2020, the republic produced agricultural products worth 189.6 billion rubles.

“Bashkiria ranks third among the Russian regions in terms of the number of cattle, the second in terms of the number of horses”, the statisticians concluded.
