Ufa ranked ninth in the Top 20 cities in Russia in terms of average offered salaries in February 2021 - more than 46.5 thousand rubles. At the same time, Ufa job seekers are ready to get employed for 40.3 thousand rubles a month - seventh place in the ranking of cities in terms of average expected salaries. In general, in Bashkiria, employers offer job seekers a salary of 43 thousand rubles. Bashkiria took 20th place in the proposed salaries in February 2021, and according to the expectations of applicants - 12th place.

"Compared to February 2020, the salary supply in Bashkiria increased by 0.6%, and the salary expectations of job seekers - by 2.5%. In Ufa, the average offered salary increased by 3.4%, the expected - by 3.5%," the experts stated.

Moscow is in the first place in offered salaries among Russian cities - with an average of 65.8 thousand rubles.

St. Petersburg takes second place with 55.6 thousand rubles, Khabarovsk is in third place - 53.7 thousand rubles on average.

"Among the large cities of Russia, Irkutsk showed the largest increase in offered salaries for the pandemic year. The average offer in vacancies opened in this city in February 2021 exceeded the indicators of February 2020 by 1,950 rubles and amounted to 48,260 rubles. The second place went to Volgograd (+1 678 rubles), the third place to Ufa (+1 540 rubles)," the study says.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) took first place in the Top 20 regions in offered salaries in February this year - more than 69.9 thousand rubles a month.

The second place in the ranking is occupied by the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District - on average 68.4 thousand rubles.

The Amur Region closes the top three with 54.6 thousand rubles.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the Ufa Employment Center's vacancy bank now contains information on 23 thousand jobs. The average salary of the offered vacancies is 25 thousand rubles.
