Radiy Khabirov visited agricultural exhibition and talked with farmers

On March 23, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the expositions of agricultural enterprises in Russia and Bashkortostan at the traditional exhibition "AgroComplex - 2021".

159 units of machinery and large-sized equipment were exhibited on the square in front of VDNKh-Expo in Ufa.

More than 70 producers of Bashkortostan participate in the traditional fair of farm products. Radiy Khabirov stressed that the priority task for agriculture in the region in the near future would be the development of agricultural processing, and the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic should support companies that work in this area.

More than 300 companies from 40 regions of Russia and the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Belarus take part in the specialized international exhibition "AgroComplex-2021". For the first time in Bashkortostan, the Trans-Baikal Territory, Tver, and Omsk Regions present their collective stands.

The Head of Bashkortostan noted that, despite the difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic, the republic's agriculture at the end of 2020 showed growth both in production volumes and in attracting investments.

"Last year, we seriously helped our agricultural producers in terms of technical re-equipment with the help of subsidies and leasing procedures. This support proved to be in great demand. This year, our farmers are already buying equipment at such a pace that even a shortage of it is formed."

Director of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Roman Nekrasov conveyed greetings from the Minister of Agriculture of the country Dmitry Patrushev to the exhibition participants.

Note that the forum and exhibitions' events are held in a "hybrid" format for the first time. Alongside the traditional exposition, a unique online platform was organized, which allows to observe what is happening on the site online and get acquainted with the exhibition participants, communicating with them in real-time from anywhere in the world.
