Cars and computers have risen in price in Bashkiria

Inflation in the non-food sector in Bashkiria amounted to 4.6% in February (compared to February 2020). Last month, prices increased by 0.4 percentage points. The main factors are the weakening of the ruble and an increase in demand for certain goods, the National Bank RB reports.
In February, imported goods with a long supply cycle continued to rise in price - computers, TVs, cars.
Automakers have once again raised prices for new foreign cars due to the increased prices for imported components, and dealers postponed this increase at retail amid high purchasing activity. In turn, high prices for new cars led to an increase in demand for used foreign cars.
The rise in motor fuel prices contributed significantly to the acceleration of prices. It is caused both by an increase in excise rates and a revision of the parameters of the return excise tax mechanism, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, by an increase in demand as travel intensifies.
Increased demand and insufficient supply were reflected in the rise in prices for frame furniture.
High competition and market saturation allowed the prices for detergents, cleaning products, and cosmetic products to decrease (in annual terms).
