Bashkiria will actively cooperate with Russian Clusters and Technoparks Association

Today the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, held a working meeting with the director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia Andrey Shpilenko. They discussed the issues of forming instruments for the territorial development of industry in the region.

"Bashkortostan has a giant industrial potential. Together with the Government of the Republic, we have worked out a roadmap for creating a whole set of development tools in the context of industrial clusters, technology parks, and the Alga special economic zone. Each item is absolutely specific and is measured by the volume of attracted investments in the region's economy," Andrey Shpilenko said.

"On March 20, we met with the Economic Development Minister of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov. We feel support for our economic projects at the federal level. First of all, we are talking about the further development and expansion of the Alga special economic zone. Therefore, we are interested in cooperation with the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia," Radiy Khabirov said.

On March 2, in Ufa, Andrey Shpilenko took part in a meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of the republic, at which he supported the initiative to create a new interregional furniture cluster in Bashkortostan. Enterprises from Ufa, Belebey, Salavat, Beloretsk, Magnitogorsk, and Zelenodolsk have already shown their interest in the project.
