Oil and gas production decreased in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, for two months of this year, the oil and gas production have almost halved compared to January-February 2020. The decline occurred by 46.4%, it follows from the data of Bashkortostan Statistics Agency Agency.

In general, the industry of the republic showed an increase in production last February. For two months this year, the decline in industrial production was 0.5% compared to January-February 2020.

The decline was recorded in the commodity sector by 25.4% compared to January-February 2020. In addition to oil and gas, the production of other minerals decreased by 19%.

A positive trend since the beginning of the year has been observed in the manufacturing industries, in the energy sector of the economy, as well as in the field of water supply, sewerage, elimination of pollution, collection and disposal of waste, the release of the department specifies.
