Milk production in Bashkiria exceeds last year's figures

The production of milk in Bashkiria exceeds last year's figures, as stated by the republican Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the latest data, milk production in farms and agricultural enterprises of the region has reached 145 thousand tons. This is almost 8 thousand tons more than a year ago.

As noted by the department, a positive trend in milk production was achieved primarily due to large investment projects in animal husbandry.

In particular, a large dairy complex of the "Severnaya Niva Bashkiria" company has been practically built and is already operating in the Ermekeyevsky district.

In the Ilishevsky district, a new farm of soft-wall structures was launched by the Urozhay enterprise.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the republic intends to increase milk production through lean technologies within the Labor Productivity national project.
