Investments volume increased by 0.9% in Bashkiria in 2020

The volume of investments in the economy of Bashkiria in 2020 amounted to 100.9% compared to 2019, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov said at a briefing session in the government. At the same time, according to the latest data from Rosstat, the growth in investment in 2019 was not 13.6%, but 19%.

“Congratulations to all of us. We have not only attracted the same amount of investments but also improved, and this is amid the pandemic when we first of all thought about the health of people and the protection of the population. As they say, the score is on the scoreboard. Investments mean new industries, new jobs, ” Radiy Khabirov stated.

According to him, only 35 regions in the country showed growth in terms of attracting investments. Bashkiria is in third place in the Volga Federal District after the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Mari El.
