Bashkiria will present modernized helicopter for extinguishing fires at MAKS-2021 Air Show

The modernized fire-fighting helicopter manufactured by the Kumertau Helicopter Plant will be presented at the MAKS-2021 Air Show at the Rostec site. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this to journalists following a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the cooperation development between the region and Rostec.

"Today, we once again spoke about our Kumertau aircraft manufacturing enterprise. KumAPP is the pride of our republic, which manufactures unique products. Moreover, due to the support of Rostec and our joint work, we manage not only to maintain production but also to start modernizing it. This is one of the most significant and useful results of our joint work," the Head of the Region said.

According to Anatoly Serdyukov, Aviation Cluster Industrial Director of Rostec State Corporation, in 2021, another production workshop, which was designed last year at UEC-UMPO, should start operating.

"Today's visit to Gidravlika showed that the work being done at the enterprise is going well. We have examined a testing bench of the auxiliary power plant. That was done really good", Anatoly Serdyukov said.
