Average salary in Bashkiria for 2020 is announced

The average monthly nominal salary in Bashkiria, accrued to organizations' employees in 2020, exceeded 38,706 rubles. This is 5.3 percent more than in January-December 2019, the statisticians of the republic reported.

At the same time, real wages in the region increased by 1.7 percent during this time.

"In December last year, the average salary in the republic reached 50,613 rubles. In general, for the 4th quarter of 2020, it amounted to 42 459 rubles", Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reported.

The largest salaries in the republic traditionally fall on those engaged in the production of coke and petroleum products - more than 77,862 rubles per month on average for 2020.

The average salary in the field of mining amounted to 64,603 rubles.

Production of chemicals and chemical products is in third place. Employees in this branch of the Bashkiria economy received an average of 55,756 rubles a month last year.

The Top 5 highest paid spheres in the region also included "Professional, scientific and technical activities" - 55,493 rubles and "Financial and insurance activities" - 52,663 rubles.

Conversely, the least amount in 2020 was received by manufacturers of leather and leather goods - 15 801 rubles.

Slightly higher than the salaries of those who are engaged in the production of furniture - an average of 15,879 rubles a month.

Closing the top three are employees of hotels and catering enterprises with a salary of 20,197 rubles, as well as those who are engaged in the clothes production - 20,828 rubles.
