Agricultural enterprises turnover grew by 47%, leisure sphere - fell by 41% in Bashkiria in January

In Bashkiria, in January 2020, the agriculture and forestry sector turnover increased, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, by 46.7% compared to January 2020, and amounted to 6.9 billion rubles. The information, IT, and communications industry also showed good growth - + 17% versus January last year (5.11 billion rubles).
The real estate market grew by 9%, mainly due to preferential mortgages, experts say (5.74 billion rubles); healthcare - by 6.4%, in conditions of increased attention to health (5.35 billion rubles).
The most significant economic decline in January was shown by the sphere of culture, sports, and entertainment - minus 41.5% (157 million rubles). The republic's cultural and sports institutions were allowed to fill with visitors for only 70% since January 28.
The education sector showed a decrease of only 2.5% (over 1 billion rubles). The turnover of transport companies (passenger and freight transportation, storage of goods) decreased by 13% (16.26 billion rubles), the sphere of wholesale and retail trade with car service - by 15.7% (85.23 billion rubles).
