Bashkortostan Statistics Agency published January results - economy has not yet recovered in all areas
The turnover of organizations amounted to 294.4 billion in January 2021 rubles - 90.8% by January 2020.
Goods and services were sold for 190.55 billion rubles - the amount for the year decreased to 93.6%.
In the construction sector, works were performed for 9.2 billion rubles (82.4% to January 2020); however, housing commissioning increased by 88% (230,463 square meters were built - 3894 apartments).
The agricultural sector sold products worth 7.63 billion rubles in January – by 3.3% more than a year ago.
Retail trade turnover grew by 0.3% - over 77.03 billion rubles.
Wholesale trade turnover decreased by almost 10% and amounted to 63.76 billion rubles.
Public catering turnover amounted to 2.27 billion rubles in January, with a 3% decrease compared to last January.
The volume of paid services decreased by 10.7% - 20.22 billion rubles.
The number of officially registered unemployed amounted to 96.9 thousand people in January - 5.6 times more than in January 2020.
The number of economically employed in December 2020 was 1.04 million people (January - December 2020 - 1.055 million people).
The consumer price index for goods and services increased by 5.2%.
The industrial production index made 95.5%.
For the year, oil and gas production decreased by 40%, sales in this area decreased to 64.6% compared to January 2020 and is equal to 9.88 billion rubles.
In January, oil products and coke were produced for 32.58 billion rubles (about 70% to last January). Chemical industry products were sold for 16.9 billion rubles. (+ 6%).
