The Government of Bashkiria discussed investment projects with Sberbank. The Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov wrote about this on his social media. According to him, the country's largest bank plans to finance the sports and social facilities construction, agricultural projects.

The Prime Minister recalled that in 2020, the bank issued interest-free and concessional loans for the affected industries for more than RUB 8 billion and also provided repayment holiday for many borrowers.

"This year, the republic will cooperate with Sberbank even more closely. The bank promised to invest about RUB 9.2 billion in six specially selected agricultural projects on co-financing terms.

As part of a public-private partnership project, we will build a new and reconstruct the existing building of maternity hospital No. 3 in Ufa.

According to a similar scheme, the construction of wrestling centers, volleyball, football stadium, swimming pools, and 12 schools was also discussed at the meeting.

Besides, this year Sberbank is resuming participation in the mortgage-savings program "House Construction Savings". It will issue loans to our citizens to purchase housing at preferential rates - 5.5-7% per annum.

We also agreed that Sberbank would lease 120 buses to "Bashavtotrans" company. We will put them on the main Ufa routes," the Prime Minister told about the plans.
