Unemployed number should reduce to 83 thousand in Bashkiria by end of 2021

In Bashkiria, thanks to a set of measures to restore the employed population by the IV quarter of 2021, the number of unemployed should be reduced from 94 to 83 thousand people. The document on the implementation of special measures was signed by the Prime Minister of the Government RB Andrei Nazarov and published on the official portal of legal information.

The set of measures includes 21 measures aimed at legalizing informal employment, acquiring unemployed citizens who do not have qualifications, work experience (temporary, public works); maintaining the employment of workers at risk of dismissal, including through retraining and mastering professional skills, professional navigation and vocational guidance of citizens; assistance in the employment of graduates.

More than 458 million rubles will be allocated from the republic's budget for these measures, the Ministry of Labor RB reports. Besides, as part of the implementation of regional measures, it is planned to include additional measures to attract more than 543 million rubles of federal resources to subsidize employers when hiring citizens belonging to vulnerable categories, for additional professional training of employees at risk of dismissal.

Among the target indicators are achieving 1.81 thousand people in the employed population, reducing the number of unemployed to 83.8 thousand and bringing the number of those who restored employment by creating new jobs and keeping them up to 45.4 thousand people by the fourth quarter of 2021.

Recall that the peak of registered unemployment in Bashkortostan came at the end of September 2020, when the number of unemployed citizens registered in employment centers was 129 thousand people, the level of registered unemployment was 6.82%, since the beginning of the year, it has increased by more than 7 times.

Starting from October 2020, there has been a gradual decrease in the level of registered unemployment. Thus, according to daily monitoring data, as of February 16, 2021, the number of unemployed citizens amounted to 94.1 thousand people, while the level of registered unemployment decreased to 4.97%. On the same date, 49.3 thousand vacancies were announced in the republican bank of vacancies. The tension coefficient was 2.0. Since January 1, 2021, 9.8 thousand of the republic's residents have been employed (in 2020, 51.7 thousand people were employed).
