Bashkiria will receive 237 million rubles for preferential mortgages and rural areas development

The Russian Government will allocate 2.47 billion rubles to finance measures for the rural areas' comprehensive development. Bashkiria will receive a tranche of 237 million rubles.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order.

It is planned to implement more than 30 projects in 22 regions of the country through federal assistance. It relates to the construction and reconstruction of schools, kindergartens, sports complexes, swimming pools, gas and water pipelines.

Besides, another 1.16 billion rubles will be channeled to subsidize the rural mortgage program at 3% per annum. "We hope that this decision will help almost 12 thousand families improve their living conditions," Mikhail Mishustin stated.

It is expected that these measures will cover about 195 thousand people and will create more than 7 thousand jobs. Earlier, 12.4 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes in the 2021 budget.

The approved order will increase social infrastructure availability in rural areas and allow even more rural residents to use preferential mortgages.
