Bashkiria exported 8.5 thousand cubic meters of timber year to date

Bashkiria has exported 8.5 thousand cubic meters of timber since the beginning of the year. Eight countries - Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic - have become the buyers of Bashkir timber, the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration informs.

According to the department, since the beginning of the year, 185 phytosanitary certificates have been issued to export 8,511 cubic meters of timber.

"All batches of timber were tested in the Bashkir Rosselkhoznadzor Reference Center laboratories for the presence of quarantine objects. The examination results show that the product samples meet the importing countries' requirements," the ministry informs in a release.
