Bashkiria exported 47.5 tons of honey for 195 thousand dollars

Bashkortostan exported 47.5 tons of honey for a total of 195 thousand US dollars in 2020. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the region.

For example, in November last year, the Bashkir Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy exported to the United Arab Emirates 408 kg of wild-hive honey in wooden kilogram barrels, 100 kg of centrifugal linden honey, 500 glass bottles (8 g each) of adsorbed royal jelly powder. The importers announced their intention to cooperate further; now, the center is preparing a batch of beekeeping products for dispatch to the UAE.

According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia exported $ 4.9 million worth of natural honey in 2020. Deliveries were made to more than 25 countries. The largest buyers were China (37%), Kazakhstan (13%), Belarus (13%), as well as the USA (11%) and Poland (8%)
