There are 46 thousand vacant jobs per 96 thousand officially unemployed in Bashkiria

The republican bank of vacancies currently contains information about 46.3 thousand vacancies. The number of unemployed citizens is 96 thousand people. The registered unemployment rate is 5.07 percent.

A gradual decrease in the level of registered unemployment has been observed since October 2020. The peak of registered unemployment, we recall, fell at the end of September 2020, when the number of unemployed citizens registered in employment centers amounted to 129 thousand people (the level of registered unemployment is 6.82%), having increased from the beginning of the year by more than 7 times (by January 1, 2020 - 18.3 thousand people).

The restoration of the labor market, among other things, is facilitated by the current republican programs to promote employment. Free vocational training is organized for unemployed citizens experiencing difficulties in finding a job, internships for graduates of vocational education organizations and people with disabilities, as well as other measures of active employment policy.

So, in 2020, 51.7 thousand people were employed. Since January 1, 2021, 6.3 thousand people found jobs.
