The concept for developing glamping sites for 2021-2024 in Bashkiria provides for the creation of 50 glamping sites within five years. The document was approved during a government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov on February 9, the press service of the regional Ministry of Trade reports.
The purpose of the concept is to create conditions in the region for organizing domestic and inbound tourism, as well as to meet the needs of tourists for a comfortable outdoor recreation. The key result of the Concept implementation will be the creation of 50 glamping sites by 2024.
Glamping means outdoor recreation, but in comfortable conditions - comfortable living units with all communications.
The document establishes the basic requirements for glamping: toilet and shower rooms for each module, recreation areas, administrative center, parking, and others.
“From an economic point of view, this format is interesting both for entrepreneurs in terms of low costs for organizing activities and for visitors in terms of the cost of the stay. Today we already have investors who are ready to organize glamping in the republic, which indicates that we are moving in the right direction, and if we work together within the framework of the outlined tasks, we will achieve significant results,” Aleksey Gusev concluded.
The first glamping in Bashkiria opened in the Birsky region in May 2020. Comfortable outdoor tent-houses were equipped at the tourist camp on Lake Shamsutdin.
