Enterprise for helicopters parts production became PDA Kumertau resident

"Aviators of Bashkiria" Research and Production Enterprise is included in the register of residents of the PDA "Kumertau" and will receive appropriate tax benefits, the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic reported. The company will invest 500 million rubles in resuming the production of the parts for the overhaul of Ka-26 helicopters. The project is planned to be implemented until 2030. The enterprise will create 85 new jobs.

"The company will engage in diagnostics and repair of Ka-26 helicopters. The final consumer of the repaired helicopters is airlines in several sectors of the country's economy, mainly agricultural aviation. Besides, supplies abroad are planned - to Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria," Deputy Minister Yekaterina Klikunova said.

The status of PDA was assigned to Kumertau in December 2016. In four years, 30 residents have appeared here - the largest number among Bashkir single-industry cities. In total, there are five priority development areas (PDAs) in the republic - except for Kumertau, these are Belebey, Neftekamsk, Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk. PDA residents can apply reduced tax rates, insurance premium rates, and other federal and regional preferences.
