Tax deductions from investors for ten years amounted to 160.5 billion rubles in Bashkiria

Priority investment projects implemented from 2011 to 2020 paid 160.5 billion rubles of taxes to the budget of Bashkiria. The figures were announced at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on increasing the revenue potential of the republican treasury.

"Attracting investments to the region is a priority task of the government. Significant incentives are offered to investors. Since 2011, they have been provided with state support in the amount of 11.5 billion rubles, including tax incentives for 9.9 billion rubles. But we do not just support investors. Thus, we improve the quality of life in the region, create jobs, new production facilities of necessary goods, and increase the tax base of the regional budget," Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov said.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, industrial investment projects showed the greatest return: 156.3 billion rubles over a decade. Agricultural investment projects "returned" 2.6 billion rubles, tourism - 800 million rubles, healthcare - 500 million rubles.

"In total, 14 rubles of tax revenues and 25 rubles of investments in the regional economy were received for 1 ruble of budgetary investments over a 10-year period," Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Muratov said.
