Average salary and most highly paid industries are named in Bashkiria
The average monthly nominal salary in Bashkiria, accrued to organizations' employees for 11 months of 2020, amounted to 37,656 rubles. This is 4.5 percent more than in January-November 2019, according to the statistics of the republic.
At the same time, real wages in the region increased by 1 percent during this time.
"In November last year, the average salary in the republic reached 38 396 rubles. In November 2019, it was 36,267 rubles," the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.
Traditionally, the highest salaries in the republic are observed in the production of coke and petroleum products - more than 78,277 rubles per month on average for 11 months of 2020.
The average salary in the field of mining was 64,139 rubles.
In third place is the production of chemicals and chemical products. Employees in this sector of the Bashkiria economy received an average of 54,254 rubles at the end of 11 months of 2020.
The Top 5 highest paid spheres in the region also included "Professional, scientific and technical activities" - 53,889 rubles and "Financial and insurance activities" - 50,283 rubles.
Conversely, those engaged in furniture production received the least in January-November last year in Bashkiria - an average of 15,279 rubles a month.
Not much higher than the salaries of those who produce leather and leather goods - on average 15 796 rubles.
The third place is occupied by employees of hotels and catering enterprises with a salary of 19 839 rubles, as well as those who are engaged in the production of clothes - 20 150 rubles.
