Non-resource-based exports volume increased in Bashkiria
For 11 months of 2020, the volume of non-resource-based exports increased by 11% compared to January-November 2019, Margarita Bolycheva, Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activity RB, stated at a meeting in the government on Monday.
"We also note an increase in the share of non-resource-based exports in the region's total exports. Over 11 months of last year, it reached 61%, an increase of 11% compared to January-November 2019. On average in Russia, the share of non-resource non-energy exports amounted to 47.3%," Margarita Bolycheva said.
According to her, the implementation of new export support measures in the region as part of the first and second package of measures to stabilize the economy contributed to achieving such results.
Bashkiria is one of the few regions of the country that provides exporters with three financial assistance types. Among them, there are payments to compensate part of the costs of transporting goods abroad, reimbursement of part of the costs of international certification of products, and "export cashback".
"The increase in the volume of non-resource-based exports is provided for by the "International cooperation and export" national project, the State Committee RB's head for foreign economic relations emphasized.
