BSС presented several projects with total volume of about 30 billion rubles

The Bashkiria government considered the Bashkir Soda Company's investment projects with a total volume of about 30 billion rubles at an "Investment Hour" session, the press service of the republic's Cabinet of Ministers informs.

One of them is the production of granular calcium chloride and deicing agents with a capacity of 100 thousand tons per year. The production, for which 7.7 billion rubles were allocated, is planned to be located at the enterprise's site; the design is scheduled for 2021-2022. After starting the installation, 75 jobs will appear.

Another project includes outdated equipment replacement to produce caustic soda by the mercury and diaphragm method with a new, less energy-intensive membrane electrolysis unit. This will save up to 1 billion rubles on electricity a year. The total investment is estimated at 21.6 billion rubles.

It is planned to create a production of rubber granulate and cryogenic powder at the empty site of the BSC car depot by recycling used car tires. The volume of processing will reach 23 thousand tons of raw materials per year. By investing 655 million rubles, the investor will create about 40 new jobs. According to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, it is possible to collect about 10 thousand tons of old car tires in the region at the first stage.

"The Investment Hour session discussed plans to create an industrial park on the territory of the Alga SEZ, develop watered limestone reserves in the Shakhtau quarry, develop the Karayganovskoye deposit to promote the existing brine extraction facility, and resume the production of synthetic detergents at the Ekol subsidiary," the release says.
