Bashkiria plans to create Innovative and Technological Valley

Radiy Khabirov, in his Address to the State Assembly of the republic, instructed the government of Bashkortostan to prepare and start promoting an application to the Government of Russia to create an Innovative and Technological Valley for the development of technologies and innovation management.

It will create an infrastructure for scientific and technological development with special preferential and administrative conditions for its residents. According to the Head of the region, the goal is to launch a commercialization system of scientific products and increase its investment attractiveness. This will be the second special economic zone of a technology-innovative type.

Considering the massive interest from investors, including foreign ones, to the Alga special economic zone of the industrial type, the Head of Bashkortostan instructed the government to work out the possibility of expanding its territory.

Residents began to explore the Alga sites actively. This year, 800 new jobs will appear there, next year - almost 2,000 more.
