Pensions of non-working people are indexed by 6.3% from January 1

From January 1, 2021, the insurance pensions of non-working pensioners, including a fixed payment, are indexed by 6.3%. As a result, the republic's average insurance pension will reach 15,715 rubles, the Pension Fund informs. The increased pensions from January 3 will be delivered to 1.18 million pensioners of the republic.

The size of the increase is individual and depends on the amount of the pension received; the Pension Fund explains: "The higher the pension rights acquired by a citizen during his working life (length of service, earnings, insurance contributions, the number of pension coefficients), the greater the amount of the insurance pension and, consequently, the amount of its increase after indexation."

Working pensioners will be paid their pensions, taking into account indexations, after dismissal from work.

All non-working pensioners, the total amount of financial security for which is lower than the subsistence minimum established in the republic, will receive a federal social supplement to their pensions during the year.
