5.5 thousand residents and 1.3 thousand entrepreneurs were granted loan repayment holidays in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, more than 5 thousand residents of the republic took advantage of loan repayment holidays (deferred payments) for a total of 1.7 billion rubles in 2020. About 1,300 entrepreneurs received repayment holidays in the amount of 1.8 billion rubles. Almost 500 other residents of the republic took advantage of the mortgage holidays within the framework of the law on mortgages; the amount exceeded 1 billion rubles, the National Bank of Bashkiria reports.

As of December 16, banks under their own programs restructured loans to about 43 thousand citizens for more than 15 billion rubles and to over 700 SMEs for RUB 6.3 billion

In addition to loan repayment holidays, other preferential programs were provided for business. More than 4,700 loans were issued for the resumption of activities at 2% per annum, for a total of 6.8 billion rubles. One thousand one hundred entrepreneurs received interest-free loans for salaries (totaling over 1.7 billion rubles).

Together with business support programs (the volume of soft loans at 8.5% per annum increased in January-September, 4 times, up to 18 billion rubles), the total sum of assistance amounted to about 52.3 billion rubles.

The law on loan repayment holidays was adopted in the country in connection with the pandemic; applications were accepted from April to September.
