The Bashkiria project was recognized as one of the three winners of the Skolkovo Startup School's autumn-winter season, the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship reported.

The third online program lasted one month and was addressed to startup teams from IT, artificial intelligence, VR, industrial technology, EdTech, and biomedicine.

"12 projects were presented to the jury. One of the three winners was the development of the Ufa company "ABISS" (horizontal drilling, Airat Galyamov)", the press secretary of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship RB Ilgizar Sanyarov said.

According to the developer Ayrat Galyamov, the technology will be of interest to the mining industry.

"This is a system of automated biostratigraphic drilling support, which makes it possible to determine the relative geological age of layers in the process of drilling," he explained.

In total, more than 20 technology entrepreneurs, including two Ufa teams, took part in the third season of the Skolkovo Startup School.

"Despite the fact that IT projects dominate, more and more scientific and technological projects come to us, and there are a lot of them in the regions. Such projects are especially attracted by the Skolkovo infrastructure, sites where a technology startup finds support in all areas: from the expertise of its business project to finding a partner or investor," Elena Sharipova from the team of organizers of the Skolkovo Startup School emphasized.
